2 Days in Medellín: Day-by-Day Itinerary
Two days are enough to see both sides of Medellín: the city that reinvented itself and the countryside of Antioquia around it. On the day you arrive, keep it light with the Comuna 13 tour, about 4 hours from Parque El Poblado, with the neighborhood's graffiti, its outdoor escalators, a breakdance show and a panoramic view of the city. At night, the chiva rumbera takes you on a 3.5-hour party ride with unlimited national beer and rum.
Day 2 is the classic day trip: Guatapé and El Peñol Rock. We leave at 7:00 from Parque El Poblado, visit the rock (the ticket to climb it is not included), take a 50-minute boat ride on the reservoir and walk the colorful zócalo streets of Guatapé with your guide. Breakfast and lunch are included, with a vegetarian option.
If you would rather skip the night out, remove the chiva in the planner and keep the evening free.
