One Week in Medellín: 7-Day Itinerary
A full week lets you see Medellín, its countryside and the Coffee Region without rushing. Arrive and do Comuna 13, then celebrate the first night on a chiva rumbera. Days 2 and 3 are the private Coffee Region Experience: Salento, Filandia, a coffee farm, the wax palms of the Cocora Valley and the Santa Rosa de Cabal hot springs, with lodging.
Day 4 is back in the city: the Pablo Escobar history tour in the morning, told with respect for the victims, and the coffee tour near Medellín in the afternoon, with a tasting and a hands-on harvest. Day 5 is Guatapé and El Peñol Rock, leaving at 7:00 from Parque El Poblado, with a boat ride and breakfast and lunch included.
Day 6 goes up to Santa Elena to meet the silletero families behind the Flower Festival, then up in the air with a 15-minute tandem paragliding flight over the valley, photos and videos included. On day 7, if the calendar allows, catch a live match at the Atanasio Girardot before you fly.

Questions about this itinerary
Is a week too long for Medellín?
Not with day trips. This plan spends two days in the Coffee Region and one in Guatapé, so you only spend four days in the city itself.
Do I need experience for paragliding?
No. You fly in tandem with certified instructors for 15 minutes, and photos and videos of the flight are included.
Can I replace a tour I do not like?
Yes. Open this itinerary in the planner with "Customize this itinerary" and use "Swap" or "Remove" on any tour.
