Medellín Adventure Itinerary: Paragliding & ATV
Medellín sits in a valley surrounded by mountains, which makes it a great base for adventure. On arrival day, see the city from above with a 15-minute tandem paragliding flight with certified instructors, no experience needed, photos and videos included. The tour leaves from Parque El Poblado and takes about 3 hours. At night, the chiva rumbera turns a traditional painted bus into a 3.5-hour party.
Day 2 is a full day in eastern Antioquia to reach the Salto del Buey, one of the region's most impressive waterfalls, after a walk through the countryside. It takes about 10 hours, leaving from Parque El Poblado.
On your last morning, ride an ATV on natural trails outside Medellín: training before you start, safety gear and two hours of riding with fuel included. The ATV tour is private only and needs at least 2 people. Traveling as a group of 4 or more? The planner can also suggest horseback riding through the countryside.
