4 Days in Medellín: Itinerary & Day Trips
With four days you can mix the city, a day trip and the things locals live for. Arrive and do Comuna 13, about 4 hours from Parque El Poblado. On day 2 head out to Guatapé and El Peñol Rock: departure at 7:00 from Parque El Poblado, a 50-minute boat ride on the reservoir, a guided walk through the colorful streets and breakfast and lunch included.
Day 3 is a city day in two halves. In the morning, the Pablo Escobar history tour explains the 80s and 90s and how Medellín rebuilt itself, told with respect for the victims. In the afternoon, the football tour takes you to a live match at the Atanasio Girardot stadium, with pickup at your accommodation, to feel the songs, the colors and the passion from the stands.
On your last morning, the coffee tour visits a working farm in the hills around Medellín, with a tasting and a hands-on harvest, and gets you back in time to pack.

Are two tours in one day too much?
Day 3 combines two tours of about 4 and 5 hours. If you prefer a slower trip, choose the "Relaxed" pace in the planner and it will keep one activity per day.
